MacKenzie Lake manager Dean Johnson said that fishing at our lake is very, very good. When lake levels are low, the fishing is usually much better!! Speedboats pulling tubes or skiiers or personal watercraft have been banned this summer. But, fishing is fine; come on out!!
The Tulia Chamber of Commerce’s newest member is Professional Auto Detail, located at 423 NE 6th Str., where a ribbon cutting was held on May 16, 2011. Luis and Teresa Torres are owners/operators and look forward to accomodating Tulia residents with detailing of all vehicles. Peggy’s Fire Pit, which specializes in barbequed, smoked meats and homemade side dishes is Tulia’s newest business!! The business is located on Maxwell Street in Downtown Tulia. The Chamber’s Red Ribbon Cutting was held there recently with over 35 people in attendance. Hours are: 11:00-9:00 daily closed Thursday Sunday: 11:00-5:00.
