Tulia’s newest business to open in our town is Comfort Air Solutions & Remodeling. This business has recently joined the Tulia Chamber of Commerce and wants to get acquainted with our citizens. Comfort Air is owned and operated by Ray and Monica De Los Santos. The family previously lived in Waco and are definitely happy to be back in the Panhandle. Monica Rodriguez De Los Santos is a Tulia native, graduated from THS in 1996 and is a new employee at Swisher Co. Head Start. Ray was born and grew up in Amarillo, graduated from Caprock High School and has an Associate’s Degree from Texas State Technical College in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Comfort Air’s specialties are installing and maintaining air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration units. Home and business remodeling is also included in the workday, with bathroom remodeling as a specialty. Ray has 12 years of experience in these areas.
Ray and Monica are parents to two daughters, Adonica, who attends Swinburn Elementary and Alaina, enrolled at Head Start.

The Harlem Ambassadors will be performing in Tulia Feb. 25, 2010. Their rivals will be stand out basketball performers from Tulia - such as: Dr. Jennifer Tucker Milner, Lance McCaslin, Gary Eastwood, Autumn Borchardt, and Dr. Tori Marnell. The Tulia stars will be called the Tule Lakers! This contest will take place in the THS gym at 7:00 pm that night. More info coming later!!
Swisher Co. RSVP is holding a community blood drive for their Martin Luther King Jr. Day project. It will be held at the Sr. Citizen’s Bldg. from 2-7 pm on Mon., Jan. 18, 2010. For an appointment call 331-8800. Do something amazing today!
Tulia’s C of C Annual Mtg. for all members will be held at the Swisher Mem. Bldg. on Dec. 14th from 5:30-6:30. Yearly voting for board members will be held - a light supper will be served.
Tulia’s Christmas Residential Lighting Contest will be judged on Sat., Dec. 12th starting at 7:00 pm. One grand prize will be awarded.
