Downtown at the square was great. I think everyone one had a blast. There was alot of great food booths and fun for the kids. The hospital brought out their blow-up bouncers and the kids had a ball even though we had rain half the week. We even had a couple bring a little farris wheel for the kids. My kids just had a blast. Can’t wait to do it all over again next year.farris-wheel

BILLY COOK “KISS THA COOK” WAS IN TOWN

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

billy-cook2Billy Cook and his crew was in town August 3, 2009. He is from Houston and was here to shake hands and get to know the people of Tulia. Billy is an upcoming R&B singer, and has sang with many famous stars such as Beyonce. His new cd “KISS THA COOK” is in stores now. You can visit him at myspace.com/kissthacook. Billy is trying to make a name for himself the old fashion way, stopping in small towns meeting fans learning about folks and where they come from. He thinks a strong fan base makes a strong music artist. It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Cook and his crew.
